Deni Roman is the founder of Maui Yoga Path (est. 2002), a beachfront yoga studio on Maui. She is an experienced Iyengar Yoga teacher who has spent decades studying directly with the Iyengar family in Pune, India.
Her teaching is known for clarity, precision, and intuitive guidance. Each class is a quiet yet powerful invitation to awaken the body’s intelligence, cultivate steadiness of mind, support healing, and deepen spirituality.
The Online Class Library
The Maui Yoga Path Vimeo library began in 2022 and now includes over 550 classes rooted in the foundations of Iyengar Yoga.
Practicing yoga daily—even for a short time—builds momentum. Momentum leads to improvement. Consistency and repetition are essential for healing the body, refining understanding, and quieting the mind.
Most students begin with in-person classes, then naturally develop a home practice. This library supports that transition, offering structure, continuity, and inspiration for long-term practice.
How to Practice with the Library
* Begin with the most recent class at the top of the library
* Each class includes a clear description and practice priority
* You may rent a single class and repeat it, or access the full library
* Even 30 minutes of practice is meaningful
Just begin. Be consistent. Over time, the practice will carry you.
Class Formats
Iyengar Yoga Beginner
Foundational classes focused on aligning and balancing the skeletal system. Learn the intelligent use of yoga props to support, clarify, and deepen understanding of the asanas.
Iyengar Yoga All Levels
A precise, alignment-based practice uniting body, mind, and breath. Through thoughtful sequencing and mindful use of props, these classes build strength, stability, flexibility, and inner clarity.
Beach Yoga
Practiced in nature’s serenity, Beach Yoga enhances mobility, posture, and strength while releasing stress. Suitable for all levels, these classes support relaxation, vitality, and overall well-being.
