Deni's deep connection to Iyengar Yoga began in the 1980s, and she has devoted years to studying and practicing it. Her transformative journey included fifteen trips and four years of intensive learning directly with the legendary B.K.S. Iyengar and his children, Geeta and Prashant, in Pune, India.
Her travels through India, Nepal, Egypt, Israel, and Japan and visits to sacred sites have profoundly influenced her teaching style and life philosophy.
A libra, water dragon, dedicated teacher, yogini, and advocate for balance, Deni is known for her strength, flexibility, and independence. As a devoted mother and grandmother, she integrates love, wisdom, and grace into all areas of her life.

Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Deni made a life-changing move to Maui in December 1999, pulling up her roots to live and teach yoga in paradise.
Deni began teaching yoga at the renowned Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua, and leading classes at the former Sports Club Kahana, embracing the chance to teach in one of the most beautiful places in the world.
In 2002, Deni expanded her impact on the island by opening Maui Yoga Path in Kihei at the Mana Kai Maui—a sanctuary where individuals could deepen their practice and find balance in both body and mind.
