Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Deni made a life-changing move to Maui in December 1999, trading the winter chill for the Hawaiian Islands lush tropical paradise. It was there, amidst the stunning beauty of Kapalua, that she began teaching yoga at the renowned Ritz-Carlton, just as the Mercedes-Benz Golf Tournament was taking place. Over the years, she had the honor of guiding locals and visitors on their yoga journeys, leading classes at the former Sports Club Kahana, and embracing the chance to teach in one of the most beautiful places in the world.
In 2002, Deni expanded her impact on the island by opening Maui Yoga Path in Kihei at the Mana Kai Maui—a sanctuary where individuals could deepen their practice and find balance in both body and mind. The studio quickly became a cherished space for the community, offering a variety of classes, workshops, and a welcoming environment for all levels of practice.
