An overall evaluation to develop a personal home practice, to heal injuries, gain insights and inspiration.
Just returned from a week of practice with Deni at Maui Yoga Path including a 3 day workshop and private session. What at incredible experience. Deni's instruction and teaching is second to none. A very rare combination of alignment, instruction and spirituality. She is one of the best, if not the best Iyengar yoga instructor in the country. - Jon, Vail, CO
A St. Louis-native, Deni moved to Maui in 1999 to teach yoga and live in paradise. She is the proud mother of her daughter Evan, granddaughter Romy and son Benton.
Her many years of study and dedication in dance and athletics gave her a disciplined foundation in living a healthy and balanced lifestyle. She competed in national bodybuilding, aerobics, racquetball, and marathons.
In the late 1980s, Deni experienced her first Iyengar yoga class and instantly knew she had found her life path that was complete in every way. She is blessed to have studied fifteen times a total of over four years in India with the Iyengar's and to travel to holy and sacred sights in India, Israel, and Egypt.
Deni knew from childhood that she wanted to be a teacher. Her teaching style is clear, detailed, motivating, fun, and from her heart. She is highly intuitive and provides a safe, supportive atmosphere that guides you to your highest potential. She brings a deep sense of spiritual practice and awareness of her magisterial teaching.
